Welcome this beautiful Tuesday! It's time for another challenge over at the ColourQ. Arielle has chosen pretty Spring colors, Early Espresso, Primrose Petals, (retired) Barely Banana, Pear Pizzazz and white. Hope you are inspired to play, I love seeing you in the gallery each week.
I made two cards yesterday. The first card used a design that I use a lot, so I will preview card two first. Both have Pear Pizzazz card bases and both are matted with white cs. I used a wreath from a wedding stamp set, inked it with EE and PP inks using my pens. Next I stamped Thinking of you and waited for that to dry. I added a circle stamp from the Works of Art set, stamping in Barely Banana. All the flowers and leaves were stamped in Stazon, then water colored and fussy cut, the butterfly was stamped in Early Espresso over Barely Banana ink. I added some pink sequins from my Etsy shop for fun and a pop more pink color. Love how this design turned out!
The second card features Primroses, leaves and my favorite bird. This time I used yellow sequins from my Etsy shop. I love this design using any color! Again these colors just seem to work well together.
After a storm Sunday night and some rain, we were 85 Monday, but because there was no breeze it seemed hotter than last weeks 90. Today's high is just 66, so it will be nice gardening weather. I picked 24 beautiful cherry tomatoes and my zucchini plant has it's first blooms. Thanks for stopping by for a visit and have a wonderful Tuesday, I have some catching up to do outside, how about you?
