Hello Tuesday, it is going to be a beautiful September Tuesday, hope everyone is up and about to start the day! Today at the ColourQ, Arielle has chosen these colors, Kraft, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Tangerine Tango and white. I thought I was not going to like this combination, but found after I started that I loved it! Give it a go, maybe you will fall in love with this color group!
My card base is kraft and it is matted with white cs, stamped with wood grain in Crumb Cake(kraft). It has an oval window cut out. The background behind the flowers is also wood grain in Crumb Cake and it is rubbed with Night of Navy ink. I added flowers in Tangerine Tango, Night of Navy and leaves in Crumb Cake and Tangerine Tango. The centers are Crumb Cake. the butterfly is in Daffodil Delight. Sorry about creating a floral scene over and over, but I do love them and they are perfect for the birthday cards I want to make. My mom's birthday was in September so this card would have made her happy.
I decided to keep going using some of favorite designs. You have seen these designs before and the bird I stamped as well. However, I thought you might like to see how different techniques work just as well with the colors. The last card is my favorite of all because of the elusiveness of the scene!
The last card, you can almost see into the soul of the artist ! Notice how the Daffodil Delight is almost like sunlight peering through the darkness. No blending of color in the background on this one! I love the colors and how true they are!
How creative do you want to be or do you want a step by step, copy everything presentation? Creativity involves a process, being inspired by your surroundings, something you see, a new technique or product. I am here to inspire you to create. Enjoy your Tuesday and think about the process that you will enjoy! Thanks for stopping by for a visit and thanks for your comments on my blog!
