Happy Saturday and a gorgeous November morning. We are supposed to be in the mid 40's, haven't experienced this since January, if my memory is correct! I thought we could celebrate the 1st day of November with a Christmas card. Since I have been thinking for a while that I would like to do this and one of the comments was from an Alberta gal who said she also was thinking about doing this, I made a Christmas butterfly card tonight. So Carol, this one is for you!
The card base is red and it is matted with whit cs. I embossed the back ground with a snowflake ef, added Joy as the sentiment, 3 tiny rhinestones and the butterfly. The butterfly was stamped with stazon then water colored with three red inks. I fussy cut and glued to the card. A pretty simple card, took me longer to fussy cut the butterfly than all the rest.
I have lived and celebrated Christmas all over the world, so I know anything is possible. I never thought about a butterfly on a Christmas card, but loved the idea! Carol it is your turn to make a Christmas card with butterflies! Do you suppose there are butterflies in Hawaii at Christmas, who will email me of a sighting in November? Have a wonderful Saturday, I will be crafting for sure, maybe doing a little wash so I can heat up the house with the dryer if I need to! Thanks for stopping by for a visit.
