I made Christmas presents this year for quite a few people. But one of my favorite projects was making birthday invitations and thank you notes for my grandson Colin. His birthday is the 20th of January and his party will be a Mickey Mouse theme. Today, I finished three more invitations as there were more people that he wanted to invite. I used a Cuttlebug embossing template. Then I hand cut all the little pieces out. I hand stamped the invitation on the reverse side. For the thank you notes. I used a Mickey Mouse stamp, then colored him in. Because Mickey Mouse is syndicated, I am not sure whether I may show the thank you notes on the blog. But, I am posting the embossed invitation.
Tonight, I worked on another thank you note. I used the new color scheme that we will be promoting this spring. The colors are Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point, Summer Sun, and Chocolate Chip. I actually forgot the Chocolate Chip, so we'll pretend that the butterfly body is brown instead of black. I do think that these colors will be great to use for many different cards.
