Hi everyone. I am back for a bit! I have been packing, packing, and packing! We are moving next weekend, final trip, to Round Rock, Texas. It will be a lot warmer than Trinidad, Colorado. I will miss my mountains and my beautiful acre of trees. I finally got to a point in my packing where I could take time out to make a card for a challenge. This weeks color for Dawn McVey's Color Challenge are Bright Pink, Chocolate, Cream, and Kraft. Such nice, warm colors. I used Stampin'Up's Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, and Kraft.
Supplies used were: Simple Friendship stamps, SU, Card stock: Kraft, Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla, SU, designer paper, Bella Rose, SU, Ink:Regal Rose and Chocolate Chip, SU, Accessories: StampinUp chipboard owl, American Crafts ribbon, Chateau Bella rub-ons, SU.
I had so much fun with this card. I have missed making and posting to the challenges. I embossed my Kraft card stock using my classy brass dry embossing plate. My flowers were stamped, cut out and raised with dimensionals. I also added Chocolate Chip dots, punched usingthe larger side of my Crop-a-Dile. I made this card for my friend, Christy. Her birthday is tomorrow. Happy Birthday Christy.
