Surprise, surprise, I actually spent most of the day and tonight in the stamp room, stamping. I managed to get a lot done. I stopped for a sandwich. I stopped to take the cats outside and then later to run to Michaels to get some pins for my tree.I searched for my pins and decided it would be quicker to get more. I am working on a special tree to go with the one I made last year! Leonie, you will be surprised.
When I took the cats out, I photographed my geranium. This is one of three that I moved from Colorado. They had a hard summer adjusting to the heat and the humidity, but this one is finally blooming and looking pretty perky again. Geraniums love cool weather. I rooted this one and am glad it has made it.
I made five cards today and posted three cards on Sylviascorner for sale. I worked on two more, one of which I am posting tonight. I have all these projects floating around in my brain. I am not sure I will get much sleep tonight as I am still working on the tree. This card uses some nice colors. The designer paper for fall has More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Ruby Red, and Elegant Eggpant, to which I added Chocolate Chip, and the new Moss. I used last year's tree(my favorite), and this years pheasant. I can still remember seeing the pheasants when I was growing up! This card has lots of cut out elements. It is great when I want to sit and watch the World Series! I can sit and cut! Well, it is back to work for a while longer. Be sure and go to Leonie's Blog and check out her Christmas tree!
