I am still hard at work on my things for sale at this weekend's show. I do not have time to take pictures and post all of them so I pulled from last year, the Christmas tree and card to match. The colors were chosen for Christina Werner's weekly card challenge. I was really pleased with the tree and am making another, same idea, but different than this one. Since the tree's are not in the show this weekend I have not been working on them, so they are not quite finished. I thought everyone might enjoy seeing this one again. I did realize how unique it was last year when I made it, but it is.
Today I worked on finishing up what I started last night. I went to my water therapy class. My knees were really hurting today. The water makes me feel better, but at the same time I come home feeling stiff. Anyway I came home and went right back to work. I have been working on a new line of product for me. I will be trying to finish up several for the show Saturday. This product will be a feature in my new cooking blog which I hope to launch in December in time for the holidays. In the meantime here is a sneak peek at my new cookbook line I call "My Holiday Treasures". Christmas is a time for families and all families have recipes that they hold near to their hearts that mom made or grandma made. Somehow these recipes disappear when the one who made them passes one. I have wanted to do cookbooks for my children with the recipes we love that have been passed down or created over the years. This is not the format I will use for theirs, but I thought it would be really great to make a cookbook to sell. This one is not finished, but I am pleased with my progress. I hope it will set your appetite so you will come back for another look.
