This weeks sketch #44 is brought to us by Kazan Clark on the 2Sketches4You Blog. As I am new at using someone else's sketches, I enjoy that I can come every Monday and find a new one. This week there is another bonus sketch, brought by Sarah Martina. I have made a notebook just to put 2sketches4you designs. If you are having trouble with your card designs, take a look at Kazan and Laura's sketches each week and enter the challenge.
I am still into hearts this week. My color choices were Melon Mambo, Mellow Moss, Chocolate Chip and white. Stamp sets include, I (Heart) Hearts, With All My Heart, Sweethearts, and retired Fine Lace, Stampin'Up! When I could not find paper I liked, I took a tip from my blog friend Donna, and made some of my own. I stamped white card stock with Mellow Moss ink, then used my brayer to fill in and add color as I needed it. I used this for my leaves as well. Thanks Donna, it has been awhile since I made the background. Inside, I have another heart, so that my message is continued. I got an e-mail today in response to my last night's post about my grandsons birthday. It was from my friend Brenda from Wisconsin. Her birthday is tomorrow. I made this card with her birthday in mind! So Happy Birthday, Brenda.
Thanks Kazan, for the sketch. You are enabling me to practice and hopefully get better. The challenge is sponsored by Starving Artistamps. Thanks, these stamps are really nice!
