I have been working on pictures for my new blog banner. You must have a banner, and for that I needed to edit photo's I have been taking since 2006! I know that is too long. I planned to do cookbook's for my children with recipes that they grew up with or ones that are my recent favorites. I am now getting around to blogging them and will then put together in an album, that is if I ever learn what I need, to do it digitally. I am working on that as well.
Tonight however, I worked on a card. I bought a sheet of card stock with playing card faces. This is the first card I have made with one of them. This card has no new technique. It is just a fun Valentine card. I am spending all morning tomorrow posting cards to my Etsy Shop. I added several this past week and need to get the others on as my cards number has dwindled.
I want to thank all the people who follow my blog regularly. I try and do things I think will inspire you, even when I do a challenge. Today is the last post in January. I hope everyone has had a good month. Set some goals if you are a card maker. Take a chance and enter a challenge. There are a lot of good ones out there. You will learn a lot and meet a lot of nice people. Remember it is not about the win, it is about the challenge and what you gain from doing it. The blogs out there devoted to provide challenges have a lot of talented designers working hard to provide a community for all of us, those who participate and those of us who enjoy the entries.
