It has been a long weekend! My husband came home Friday evening, it was his birthday so I took him out for dinner. We went be Ikea and got the wall unit I needed for the guest room and put it together. I painted one wall of the guest room and put back all the things that came out of the furniture that left the room( into the smaller more open unit). Now I just have all the other walls to paint. In my house it is a process. Maybe before we have been here a year I will have finished painting and gotten everything off the floors! I am glad I am not having company this week! Tomorrow I just have thirteen card fronts to make for our stamp meeting tomorrow night. Luckily it's use the Big Shot month. That is why I am so late posting to this challenge.
This week's challenge over on the Color Throwdown Blog, is brought by Barbara Anders. The colors are Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Old Olive, and Kraft. Thanks ladies for the great color combination. Besure and check out all the cards on the Color Throwdown Blog.
I used Kraft as a card base, I dry embossed a Baja Breeze mat. I made a pattern for the window using the Curly Label punch, then punched my So Saffron. I used my needle and made an outline around the window. I stamped my saying, and dry embossed a border around the So Saffron. I stamped my hanging herbs and flowers, then used a blender pen to color all with inks. The hardest part was cutting the flowers out, another reason I am running late. I added some rhinestones and mounted the mat with dimensional. Thanks for stopping by to see this card. Have a great week.
