If your read my posts you know that there have been a lot of little annoyances over the past few days. I am on my way in awhile to the dentist to get my tooth x-rayed( the one with missing crown). None of this was life threatening or really important in the scheme of things, but my days have been good inspite of everything! This morning I am posting my cards from the week that were awarded various honors, for which I am indeed grateful! I appreciate all the effort it takes in holding challenges then having the agony of choosing winners. Thanks to all the blogs represented her and the people who make the blogs possible.
Yesterday, I had a blog show up so many times to my post that I had to check it out. The blog belongs to Nancy Riley. She honored me with picking this card to be in IPICS week 84. I went back this morning to look at her spotlight cards and found that she had posted her array of award winning cards here. It was such a great idea that I am copying the idea! (The idea for a post, not a card!) Check out Nancy's blog and Thank you Nancy, for including me in your IPICS.
This card was a co-winner with Marissa on the ColourQ Challenge Blog. Thank you, Arielle and the design team for picking my card again. Check out the new colors this week here, the designers' cards are out of this world and the colors again so lovely! Thank you, Angeline Young, for alerting me late last night that I had won!
This card earned a Spotlight Artist award on the City Crafter Challenge Blog. This was my favorite creative card I did this week! I have never been able to draw a face! For the record, I drew the face on paper, cut the face shape, cut out each eye, the nose, the mouth, and pieced the face together. I did this because it is much easier to replace a piece rather than the whole card front! Cutting tiny pieces is easy peasy for me! Check out the new colors for week #10 at the above link as well.
Next, this card earned a favorite pick from designer Broni Holcombe, on the Color Throwdown Blog, #97. This card was one of my two water color cards that I did this week. It is always an honor to be picked on this blog! The colors are always so wonderful, even those I would not have put together! I was a guest designer in August of 2009, and we will be celebrating 100 challenges in two more weeks, with a blog hop, so be sure and check out the blog.
My last card posted here, I would have never picked it to win, but it did. It was spotlighted with four other beautiful cards on the Moxie Fab World Blog, in last weeks Tuesday Trigger, Mapping Color. Thanks to all the people who encouraged me with all the lovely comments. Be sure and check out this weeks Tuesday Trigger.
Thanks to all who visited my blog this week and those who left the many comments! When you are having a tough week, the comments really brighten the day! I am not sure what the color of this day is, yet, but I will let you know later! Have a GREAT Day!
