This week on the City Crafter Challenge Blog, challenge #10 is brought by June Lanum. June used a piece of artwork by Leslie from Creative Mint. The beautiful photo had the colors Purple, pink, and pearls. A Little Scrappy, a shop on Etsy, is the sponsor this week, with an array of beautiful ribbons, laces, and much more. Visit this Etsy shop for some dreamy embellishments. I am normally not a pink and purple person, but the image borought all kinds of wonderful things to mind.
I chose to make a romance card. I used butterflies, ribbon, lacely ribbon, rhinestones and pearls, and card stock. My colors are Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Pretty In Pink, and White. My button is from Websters Pages, seed pearls, and pink rhinestones from my stash, a pink sheer ribbon from Hobby Lobby, all the other supplies including dies and stamps, Stampin'Up! This card is just one in my dreams. I started with some white with a floral embossed card stock which will be available in the new SU catalog, which I matted with my Rich Razzleberry card base. I used the butterflies and ribbon as my focal point. I added the stamping and rhinestone to my butterflies as well as pearls to my ribbon. I love you is my sentimentstamped on a tiny tag. This card and the colors are in great contrast than my card from last week. Again, it is fun, but also magical! Enjoy your Friday! Today ahs definitely been the color orange! What about you, do you have days that remind you of colors?
