This week's challenge over on the Moxie Fab World Blog, was indeed a stretch for my imagination. I seem to do better when the trigger is artsy. When it is linear, the other side of my brain starts to work. The trigger was a a color map pillow. I kept seeing this card in my head, but I kept fighting making it because this style is just not me. But, alas I keep doing the challenge, inspite of the fact that I can never grasp it.
There was a lot of linear, both vertical and horizontal in this trigger. The name map, triggered travel to me. The various color schemes reminded me of Europe, where almost everyone rides bicycles, especially in Holland. My background is a neutral, Sahara Sand, my Top Note Die is white and my pieces of card stock all different colors make up the path or roadway, like bricks. I know, I have totally lost it, but oh well, when I awoke this morning, I had no phone, television, or internet. Someone cut the fiber optic cable. I guess all the peace and calm did something to me, although I did find it nice. My cats however did not. They kept crying because there was no noise. They thought I was not there! Rochelle, I decided that Friday should be yellow, warm, sunny, and happy! Have a great weekend everyone!
I had two people let me know that I should enter this in the Bicycle challenge on the Moxie Fab World Blog, I had a scrapbook page I wanted to enter, but if I can not find my picture, this card is a good back-up! I know everyone that has moved knows what it is like to lose something!!! Anyway. This card will go for two challenges on the same blog. Thanks Erin, Regina, and Angeline for your encouragement!
