This weeks sketch #59, over on the 2 Sketches 4 You Blog, is brought by Laura Davis. Check out the bright and cheery cards made by the design team. With the end of the summer coming, the start of school and fall in the air, gone are the summer flowers. I love Halloween, but fall and the colors of fall are always so much fun.
My card base is textured card stock. I stamped leaves and sponged my card. I made three different size panels from a piece of Very Vanilla which I ran through a wood grain texture plate. I sponged these panels with More Mustard, Peach Parfait, Tangerine Tango, and Chocolate Chip. I stamped my leaves with many colors and cut them out. I mounted my panels of Chocolate Chip card stock, added Kiwi Kiss ribbon and a border of lace. I wrapped linen thread around the top and added a clip. I stamped Thanks at the bottom as fall is a time for giving thanks. If I get a chance I will come back with a very different card, using this sketch. I have several more ideas all different. Have a wonderful Wednesday, we are supposed to have some cooling temperatures!
