The challenge this week on the City Crafter Challenge Blog, is a great one. Hosted by Cheryl Nelson, the Week 25 challenge is titled "Hooray For the Holidays" and the best part is we could do a project for any holiday. I am dialed in on Halloween so I have done a special card that I have wanted to do since the weekend. Be sure and go by and check out the designer's cards this week.
This card is my design, my patterns are hand draw and cut! I did not use a machine. I think my desire to make this kind of card stems from all the coloring books I had as a child. I loved to color and cut and I still do. My colors are all Halloween and my images are Stampin'Up! I used two different embossing folders on my card stock. My card has dimension which my photograph does not show. My pumpkin center is raised to make the window. My Eek is also hand cut as I wanted a hand written look. The image is water colored with my inks and a blender pen. My stem is crimped and folds down to mail in an envelope. I hope you enjoy the card, and have a great Friday!
