This week's Tuesday Trigger on the Moxie Fab World Blog, is a picture of a Rising Ra Cardigan from Anthropologie. I have not played in a few weeks, but had to play as this trigger intrigued me. I think I really just need a vacation, but can not get away.
This trigger was so enticing, because everything about it, is just not me. I like being out of the comfort zone when creating. I took from the photo the interesting shapes, the ruffled edge of the collar, the buttons, and some of the colors. I used some fall card stock and cut out the designs you see. I made my ruffle out of a strip of torn muslin, sewn and gathered. I added various sizes and colors of buttons along with a linen bow and die cut tag. I love the fall color scheme, it definitely reminds me of cooler weather, not sure about wearing a sweater. I have found that cold is all relative to what you are used to. When I lived in Scotland and the sun came out it seemed warmer, even when it was 30 degrees out. Well, today is Friday! Hope you all will have a wonderful and productive day.
