This week on the City Crafter Challenge Blog, Ros Crawford is celebrating week 39 with a sketch challenge. I needed this sketch tonight to make a card, so I am actually early this week. Be sure and check out the designer's cards. They are really lovely!
There were no Valentine's made today. Actually, I stayed up so late this morning that I did not want to get up . I had several lovely awards yesterday and today, that I made a card to celebrate. So tomorrow I declare, Chocolate for me and you day! I happen to know that the 12th is also Ros Crawford's birthday, so Ros I will eat something Chocolate for you as well. My week started out on making the I-Picks on Nancy Riley's Blog, Saturday and Sunday. Then yesterday I was a Spotlight artist on the City Crafter Challenge Blog, for week 38, and today my card was a Trigger Target on the Moxie Fab World Blog. Don't you think that calls for some chocolate?
My card base is "Chocolate Chip", with Melon Mambo textured cs and Pretty in Pink dsp mats. I have a folded strip of Pretty In Pink, a punched lace white border, then a kraft ribbon and bow. I surrounded my corduroy button with pom pom trim and used baker's twine to tie it together. My to do list for tomorrow has only one thing checked and that is "eat chocolate" the sentiment underneath says it all...At least you'll get one thing done today! My banner has cupcakes, but I will probably just eat one piece of candy! I topped that off with some pearls. Hope your day was as great as mine and your Wednesday even better. Happy Birthday again Ros!
