I promised a second card for the Tuesday Trigger challenge.."Bright Spot", over on the Moxie Fab World Blog, a few days ago. The card was made, but with my husband being home and the weather(light issue), I have not been able to post. Here it is the last day and I am not completely happy with the photograph, but it is now or never.
This card is based on the garland in the photo as well. However for this card, I used a lot of color(a second focus), and the circular shapes(a third focus). I did not want to use just circles sew I used button stamps. I have had sew much fun with this new set. I love the buttons and how different they are. It wasn't as easy as sewing on buttons, but they are the colors I wanted and they don't add all the bulk to a card that real buttons would. I also embossed my white background with a brassy plate that has various sizes of circles. I used the scallop label punch for my sentiment, it's the light hanging below the garlands. My sentiment was colored on with markers that match my stamped buttons. This is my fun card for the week! Loved the inspiration. Have a wonderful Sunday! Are you celebrating something, today?
