It was another spring day here, in the low 80's. It was really quite nice even though it is a little warmer at night than I would like. I can not believe that February is not cold! With all the warmth and the flowers starting to peek out from the earth, I want my cards to reflect the weather I am feeling!
This is a fresh look for me. I started with a round card. I have not done one in awhile, even though I love doing round cards. I used Rose Red, Baja Breeze, Always Artichoke, and Kraft. I made a double layer flower, punching the flowers out of different embossed pieces of white and used a Rose Red Button for the center. I used the other side of the dsp for the leaves and edged with the green. My butterfly is vellum, embossed and rubbed with color, adding rhinestones for the head and body. This is such a fun and happy card! Sorry I am late tonight, gardening and sinus! I will be back in the morning at 10:00 with my post for the ColourQ challenge.
