This week's challenge over on the City Crafter Challenge Blog, is brought by Kirsty, with week's 48 city, Monte Carlo! "The King & I" is her title, as she feels this city is fitting for kings and queens. the challenge is to make a project using a crown or crowns. You still have time to play, and the prizes are always so fun!
This challenge was a hard one for me as I don't often use crowns. It took awhile for me to finish this card. One of the stamps sets that I have is miniature pieces and has a crown, so I based my card around some of the stamps from it. I started with colors then just kept adding bits and pieces until I liked the card. Then I added bling in all the colors I have, rhinestones and pearls. My card if fit for a Queen, as it is a birthday card. I also chose this card to put a crown charm, to which I added rhinestones and a pearl(crown at the bottom). The piece of green ribbon is a present from Kirsty! It went so well with this card! Inspite of the fact that this took me well outside my comfort zone, I love how it turned out! Have a great Monday! Hope your day is filled with joy!
