This weeks challenge over on the City Crafter Challenge Blog, is brought to us by Ros. The challenge is to make a card with a get well or thinking of you theme. She also wants a digital image. Be sure and check out the wonderful things the Dt's have put together this week.
Everyone who knows me, knows that I am a procrastinator, when it comes to digital images.I finally got it together and decided I could still do a card with flowers using My Digital Studio,Stampin'Up! This was really quite fun, but tedious clicking on the image, sizing it down, etc. I did a page of flowers and leaves in various sizes, then water colored and cut them out. My card is simple. I have a Kraft card base, an Old Olive mat and a white embossed mat. I colored my flowers with Regal Rose and Pumpkin Pie and my leaves with Kiwi Kiss and Always Artichoke. I took my sentiment from one of the new sets in the Summer MIni Catalog. I have this stamp set and I could not have done the same card stamping that I was able to do digitally as the stamps are much larger. I hope you find it cheery. Thanks ladies for the spotlight artist award last week. Your challenge are always fun!
I found some of my pictures that did not get deleted off my computer of my roses from 2008. I forgot again today to take pictures, but I know you will love these! Have a great Saturday!
I got my three rose bushes planted! Tigger was hiding and I had to go look for him, so it took longer than I had planned! It was in the 90's today! Hot!
