The Tuesday Trigger over on the Moxie Fab World Blog, is titled Farm Fresh. The photograph triggers memories of my first eight years of marriage. I married a farmer. It was the happiest eight years of my young life. The days were long, but also carefree. We grew our own vegetables and I went crazy canning. We were able to get fresh fruits, apples and peaches, so I canned them as well. Alas, my farmer husband had an engineering degree, so when we had to leave as so many did, we left that life and lifestyle behind.
I used a Marina Mist card base with a white embossed and stitched background mat. I used another embossing plate that looks like a woven fabric. I stamped, water colored and cut my jar out. I filled my jar with branches from a fruit tree in full bloom. Lots of fussy cutting in this one, took me quite a bit time. I added some linen thread and my sentiment, Enjoy! This was a fun project. I do hope you enjoy this card and that it brings back memories for you.
Are the Cherry blossoms blooming in your area yet? How about Apple?
