It's a new Tuesday, which means we have a new ColourQ challenge challenge #83. Arielle has chosen a bright and beautiful combo with these colors, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Peach Parfait, Tempting Turquoise, and vanilla. Don't let these bright colors scare you away. They are fun and I'm sure you will know just what to do with them, so come play with us this week.
I have a card base of Cool Caribbean(only because I needed a card base and this one was cut already), and as the front of my card is Very Vanilla, it really doesn't matter what the card base is. I stamped small flowers in Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, and Tangerine Tango on my vanilla background, first stamping off to mute my colors. I added my leaves and stems in Turquoise, then embossed with my folder. I stamped my leaves and stems in Turquoise on white cs and cut them out and pieced them onto my vanilla, only gluing the stems so the leaves could stand off the card front. The flowers were punched from the two oranges, the flower stamped on white with Daffodil Delight them hand cut. I combined all three with a brad at the top layer, then a dimensional on the next two layers. I added a stamped T. Turquoise butterfly and a trail of rhinestones which start at my sentiment which was stamped on vanilla and cut out. I hope you like my happy card, which may be used for a number of occasions. Have a wonderful Tuesday! Back tonight with another good one for you!
