Every year I have had a Christmas in July card camp. Last year was the first year I did not sponsor one. I really miss doing it, but alas, it's a lot of work and takes a good amount of time. You my blog readers will benefit this year as I will be making projects for Christmas this week.
I wanted to start out with a card tonight. Except for some watering and taking the cats out, I did not accomplish much, today! So tonight I made this card which is simple and beautiful. I absolutely love this doily stamp. I will feature it again with a project this week. My card base is Cherry Cobbler, I have a white paper insert for my sentiment. I stamped my doily in Versa Mark and heat embossed in white(Stampin'Up! white embossing powder). I stamped my bird on white card stock with Versa Mark and heat embossed in gold(Stampin'Up! embossing powder). I rubbed with Wisteria Wonder ink on a finger dauber, then cut out the bird and foliage. The cutting took the longest of anything I did. I heat embossed my Christmas Wishes in white(SU white embossing powder) as well. I love this card, it is the first using this stamp, so I am sure the cards will get better as my imagination takes over.

It is funny, except for one name who let me know that she did not want to win again as she won something last week, all the numbers drawn were new and they kept coming up same name, different number. I will try to get everything out on Monday, but I am not promising. I will let you know when I do. Thanks for all your comments.
