It is all about music over on the City Crafter Challenge Blog. The challenge is to use music or notes, anything that has to do with music in your project. Look at the beautiful photo and tell me that you could not think up something. I have a project in the works, but since the week is getting late and I am famous for finishing projects after the challenge closes, I thought I would make a card tonight.
Even though I would have loved to use a yellow rose on my project, but I chose my favorite color scheme when using musical notes, kraft, red, black and cream. My card base is kraft stamped with a musical bar. I addeda Cherry Cobbler mat, a dotted dsp and scraps from the same collection. All these I stitched down. I added a piece of crocheted lace I got from someone in a swap, tiny ribbon and a piece of brown seam binding that I dyed black. I added a ribbon rose and a stamped rose that I water colored, then cut out. I stamped Happy birthday because I love birthday cards with this theme. Do you see the rhinestones on the musical notes at the top? I just had to have a little glitz!
Have a wonderful Thursday! The days are going by so fast so enjoy them while you can!
