Happy Tuesday, I am back again with another card for challenge #125 over on the ColourQ Challenge Blog. This week Arielle chose these colors, Dusty Durango, Lucky Limeade, Baja Breeze, Basic Gray and white. when I first saw them, I thought, okay fall colors, but when I started my card I knew it would be a spring card. Hope to see all of your creations this week.
My card base is Baja Breeze, but I actually picked out two colors and waited until the last to choose which one worked best. I was lucky that I never got rid of my Dusty Durango ink and pad, so I did not have to use DD card stock for the butterflies. I stamped everything in Basic Gray which softened the card. I did parts of this card several times. My brain after yesterday's headache was not multi-tasking very well. I did the same thing twice because I got interrupted. The only things I did not have to redo were the flowers, the butterflies and the pearls. When I finished this card, I actually felt like it was finished and beautiful, just what I had imagined.
Have a wonderful Tuesday, I am looking forward to another nice day outside. In my sidebar, notice I put in a feed burner with the help of one son. If you want to connect to your e-mail and are not sure how, e-mail me, my other son did a pictorial tutorial that anyone can follow, I will forward it on to you.
