It was so nice to wake up to a cool morning. We were in the 50's when I went out to meet Amy for lunch. It was really just the perfect spring day. After lunch and a trip to a nursery, I had several stop before I got home. I planted some of the plants I bought and some that had been waiting. I picked my first broccoli and have blooms on the tomatoes I planted last week. I love the weekend, when I have basketball to watch, lunch out and warm weather.
Whenever I spend time outdoors, I am always inspired to stamp flowers. The card base is craft with a white twice embossed mat. I die cut the window and added a pretty background. The background for this card was inspired by Linda Robinson, who has been painting and stamping. So tonight I painted and stamped on wet card stock and repeated the process until I got just what I wanted. I hope you can see all the loveliness in the painted window. I then stamped and fussy cut the roses, stamped, punched and embossed my bird. I added a bow, baker's twine and a left over butterfly! I left the sentiment off this card, I am not sure what I want to put on the front.
So, how was your Saturday, was it a nice day? I hope you have a wonderful Sunday, spending time with the ones you love, or just enjoying time outside.
