Happy Tuesday, it is time for another ColourQ challenge. Time is just flying by, but Arielle has brought us these beautiful colors, Early Expresso, Ruby Red, So Saffron, Pool Party and white. If you can find the time, I would love to see what you do with these colors.
Today is my dad's birthday, he would have been 97 and I really miss him. His birthday was always so important to everyone. I made this card as he would have loved it. He and my mom spent hours at the dining room table watching the birds. Meal time were always long, because not only visiting about the days events was important, but bird watching was always part of the the entertainment! My card base is kraft covered with a white mat at the top and a Pool Party mat at the bottom. the Pool Party was embossed and the white mat was embossed and die cut, then stamped andwater colored. The hummingbird was stamped in Early Expresso then rubbed with Pool Party and Ruby Red inks. the flowers are ruby Red with So Saffron centers. I did not have time to fussy cut flowers tonight, but I like how this looks anyway. No sentiment, that is the way I like this card! I feel you don't always have to say something with words, you can say it with color!
Have a great rest of your day. I am later this morning due to the lateness of my post last night! I always want to give each challenge the time it deserves. Thanks for stopping by today.
