Happy Wednesday all, I am back with another card for the Papercraft Star Challenge, "Include a Stamp".We want you to use a stamp somewhere on your project. That sounds easy and fun. Our sponsor is the lovely Etsy shop, the House Across the Bay, which sells high quality digital vintage and retro collage sheets. The featured designer this week is Jan, check out all the designers and welcome our newest teammate, Ros Crawford, who joins us from Liverpool, England. Welcome, Ros!
I love to stamp so this was an easy week for me. I used a craft card base, a Lucky Limeade mat. I cut a second mat in white and stamped and stamped off butterflies, then I rubbed my colors, Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral, pretty together, don't you think? I added a piece of lace before adding my beautiful framed digital. The frame was stamped using the retiring Stampin'Up! set, Notably Ornate. I fussy cut both outside and inside, then rubbed with the two colors. I added a printed digital floral from the Vintage Seed Catalog Squares #229, to the frame. I stamped the sentiment, inked it and punched it ou with a circle punch and mounted it with a dimensional. Last piece was a hot pink net bow, a scrap I had left over from the box I made a few days ago.
I love this card, unlike last weeks, I took using the digital a step farther than just making a card I could easily buy. I love the combination of the colors as well as using the stamping to surround the gorgeous digital. I look forward to seeing all your projects this week. Have a great Wednesday!
