This week over on the City Crafter Challenge blog, Ros is hosting the "Make a Gift" challenge. Normally I would be thrilled at making a gift, but this week has been such a busy one, that I am just now making my gift. You still have time to play the challenge if you are quick and clever!
I decided that I would do two things at once, play along with this challenge and make a gift for the prize over on my challenge "A Cool Drink". I started with a sheet of kraft card stock and cut it down for 8 tags, I used another piece for the front and back. All pieces were stamped with Crumb Cake ink using the Parlor Prints stamp. The front and back were embossed with the Tulip ef and the inside tags were embossed with the Finial Press ef. I used flower squares that were already printed from the Vintage Seed package and the butterfly from the Come For Tea digital collage sheets from The House Across the Bay. After a lot of cutting and gluing, I was ready to wrap ribbon on four and put buttons on some stamped die cuts. These are festive tags, so after you use the ribbon and the buttons, what remains is a fun tag book that you can fill with anything you chose!
So does this look like a great gift or a fun prize? I personally would love to hang some of these around my craft room, so maybe I will have to make some for me! Have a wonderful Sunday and Happy July!
