Happy Tuesday and last day of July! I made my last Christmas card in July for the challenge over at the ColourQ. Arielle brought us some bright, happy colors this week, Lucky Limeade, Tangerine Tango, Poppy Parade, Pink Pirouette, and white. These colors should really wet your appetite as they may be used for a lot of different seasons and a variety of things. I am looking forward to seeing what you design this week.
Since today is the last day of July and I have been celebrating making Christmas cards in July, I thought it only fitting to make another Christmas card. The card was easy, the hard part was decided what card base I wanted, I had three different choices and chose Lucky Limeade(the other two being white or Poppy Parade). I chose to go with a colored card base and a soft look. I used die cuts, stamping and water colors along with some fussy cutting to create this card. I stamped and water colored the holly and berries twice, cut them out, bent the leaves and glued only the center down. This card is all about layers and I chose to use only a little Tangerine Tango and Poppy Parade, only because of my mood!
