It's a beautiful September Wednesday. The challenge this week over on the Papercraft Star, the challenge is "Something Girly" maybe pink! I am not a pink person, so it really peeked my imagination. The sponsor is as always the House Across the Bay, sharing with us lovely digital collage sheets. Check out all the projects this week and see what a nice variety there is with this challenge. Anitra, is the featured designer this week.
I used only one digital this week, 232, Faded Summer Garden. With September comes the fading of the flowers, and the butterflies swarming. I used a Primrose card base and matted with my digital sheet. I embossed it with the tulip ef and rubbed the edges with ink. Birthday Wishes is the hand stamped sentiment and the rest of the card I added die cut flowers, layers of newsprint dsp and dsp die cut butterflies with rhinestone bodies. It wasn't a hard card to make, just a little time consuming. My mom loved pink and I will celebrate the memory of her birthday this month.
I looked forward to viewing your "Girly" projects. Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday... and you are enjoying the start of September.
