I have been out of touch the last few days as Amy's birthday and Andrew's arrival home have kept me busy. I really needed to make some birthday cards, but as evening fell, I found myself cleaning and putting up the Christmas stamps. I have some new dies, embossing folders and paper that I am just starting to use. It always takes me some time to think up new ideas, playing and making mistakes!
No birthday card was coming so I started creating a Thank you card. I love this new designer paper and embossing folder. This stamp is in the catalog and I love the way it looks when layered. Even with cold weather I still have flowers alive, thus I am still stamping flowers. I love the indentations the embossing folder made. I stamped and water colored the stems and leaves, then embossed it. It looks so real!
I went for the clean look, if you are a little rusty, then start with what you do best! After all I was making a card and yelling at the tv, my school bowl game was on! Amy and Andrew went to the game, so glad we won! Saturday was busy, I even got some rocks laid on the patio. Have a wonderful Sunday!
