Do you want a new bag for your birthday? I don't but it is fun to think up different packaging for note cards. I don't think I accomplished a whole lot Thursday, but at least my hands weren't idle. I started some chicken enchilada soup, cooked the wings and made my sauce. After de-boning, I put it in the fridge for today, so that will be dinner. I sat down in the craft room tonight to make these fun note cards. Isn't this happy paper? And of course I thought a bag to hold them would be nice!
I made the note cards first embossing, stamping and gluing. The envelopes have the same stripe on the flap. Next I drew the pattern for the bag and went from there, one step at a time. I am not sure why I am doing these at this time. It may be the festive paper or maybe I am just taking a break from serious stamping. Either way, I am getting some gifts out of the way early. Last year I did not make enough and ended up buying too much stuff to give away. Handmade gifts are much nicer. If I don't need them I can always try and sell them. Usually I make a gift or card and make a second one to sell. There are only three pictures but it seems like a lot!
So what are you doing with your days? I think I might have to get busy today! I have been enjoying a few days off, but there will be things to catch up on over the weekend. Have a wonderful Friday and I hope you have some time to craft over the weekend!
