Thursday was one of those days, don't know what was in the wind, but I awoke with a headache. I tried going back to bed but the phone kept ringing. first was an automated message from my cable provider, then twice within and hour someone called me saying they were from the power company, was my power back on. Both times it was not for me, different addresses and names, but my number. The calls did not end there. Needless to say, I did not get any more sleep and my headache raged for the rest of the day. I spent the afternoon with the cable man replacing a lot of things and getting everything finally working right. It just meant that I had to wait to craft until late evening.
I have had this idea and another swimming in my head, but this card did not quite turn out the way I wanted, so you will see a re-work of this. I have a kraft card base matted in white, the embossing you can see. I die cut the heart out and used some fabric behind it. I am not pleased with the less than perfect sewing and it is stuffed way too much, thus rippling the cs. I used the left over heart and should have stamped a new one in Pool Party. I love the tricycle and that cute little sentiment, but I should have added a little ticket tag. You know, "Ticket to ride!" Oh well, I used up a scrap or two and I got the idea down first, so I guess it was an accomplishment in the craft area today!
Our day was 76 everyone, and I don't live in Hawaii! No winter here to speak of and the birds are even singing spring, wonder if Old Man Winter will hit! Have a wonderful Friday, if you get a chance, slow down the pace a little and enjoy some crafting time!
