Well, is it cold enough for you yet, does it finally feel like winter? We are enjoying colder weather, still not as cold as Colorado, but manageable! Today we are supposed to be drizzly, we will have to wait and see. But in the mean time, here you are checking in to see what we have for you this week at the ColourQ. Arielle has chosen these bold, sports colors for you, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Basic Gray, Kraft, and white. Well, I don't know about you, but these colors were quite the challenge for me. I will enjoy seeing what you can do with this combo!
I love sports, but this combination required me doing some work at the table in order to come up with a card that I liked. I don't have a lot of sporty, or boy stamps, but I did think this the perfect time to drop by and say hello using an old timey phone and this vintage phone booth. I stamped everything several times, I used four card mats before I got the one I wanted. No bother I turned the others over and used them for something else, no waste here! In this version, the phone booth is stamped in Night of Navy, rubbed with Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray and Crumb Cake(kraft) inks. I stamped and stamped off this banner stamp to look like a pathway in Crumb Cake, the telephone and Hello in Basic Gray. This dreary scene reminds me of Scottish weather and something I might have seen on the street corner. The telephone is definitely a blast from the past. This is my approach to these colors and I do love this card. My husband said it was cute, I don't know about that.
Have a wonderful day, I will let you know if we actually get some rain. It has been scarce here and of course no snow!
