It is Tuesday over at the ColourQ. Arielle has more fun colors this week, Melons Mambo, Poppy Parade, Summer Starfruit, Basic Gray and white. Don't know what to do with these colors? Well, just start stamping! I am sure you will come up with an idea that is entirely different from the ones we have provided. My weekend was super busy and because of that, my card was a last day effort. However, I have been enjoying some new things that made the effort easier. I love the new embossing folder coming soon with Sale-A-bration. My card base is Summer Starfruit, matted with white. I dry embossed it with the new folder, I love the leaves. I added another white mat, this time it was cut with a scallop oval die. I stamped my foliage in Summer Starfruit and added some Basic Gray to the background. I stamped flowers in Melon Mambo, then stamped centers in Poppy Parade, fussy cut them, and popped them on with a dimensional. After gluing the flowers in place, I added a tag with the sentiment "Just for You".Do you like the background I used for the tag, also in Summer Starfruit? This card is all about texture.
I love these Yummy flowers, they seem to jump right off the card! With the gray days outside, my crafting tends to be brighter, thus all the white! It is quite a bit cooler here, but for winter not so bad. It just makes me want to craft more! Have a wonderful Tuesday, hope it is filled with creativity!
