Happy New year at the ColourQ! This week at the ColourQ we are re-visiting the 2012 palettes that we enjoyed using. I chose #121 and made a new card for 2013. You can compare my 2012 card and decide if I improved on the way I used my colors, then chose one of the designers color palettes and make your own card.
Post #121 appeared January 24th with this color combo, Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, More Mustard, Kraft and white. You will find my post Here with the explanation for my card. I think this is still my favorite card of 2012, I love all the white and the pops of color!
I really loved all the embossing! For the new card, I used the same rose stamp, but used a heart stamp, a new heart die, and a new embossing folder. I did a lot of stamping and cutting. but I love this look! I also need a late birthday card for my daughter Amy and this one came together perfectly. I want to re-do this card and add more white, the kraft just does not photograph well or maybe it is the photographer!
Will you see this card again, probably as I love the new stamps and the old! Yesterday my youngest son left for home in Arizona, his wife shared him with us for the holidays! Today is his 30th birthday, so Happy Birthday, Andrew! Now Happy New Year to all of you out in blogland! May 2013 be a good year for all of us!
