How is your Wednesday morning going? It is going to be a beautiful day here, it was 72 yesterday, but I am not counting on spring arriving this early! Today at the Papercraft Star, the challenge is to use buttons. I really wanted to stamp my buttons, but time just did not allow it. Check out all the designers, as like last week, we all bring different styles for your inspiration!
My card base is kraft with two mat pieces, one Pool Party(an on hand scrap) and a white border strip that I ran through two ef's. I love that lacy look. and did you notice the cross stitch(or x's)? I added three pieces of baker's twine and stamped Friend. Again this card could be sent for a number of occasions. I added some banners, a heart scrap, wings and lots of colored buttons.
Do you like to use buttons on your cards? I have loads and loads of them, but hesitate when making a card because of the bulk and weight they add to a card! We all need to mail more cards so I am trying to do a better job this year by making less weighty cards! Have a fabulous Wednesday, I think I will have some outside time today!
