Did everyone have a good start to the new year? I hope you did. This week at the Papercraft Star, we are looking back at 2012 and presenting the best project. Be sure and check out the other designer's as I know there were a lot of wonderful creations. I looked back and could not single out one project that I thought was the best. Instead I have some of my best for you to see. If you follow my blog, you know that I am not usually satisfied with a project before I have to post it. There is always room for improvement, that is why it is fun to look back at what you made.
Looking back to April 4th, this card was for the Papercraft Star Challenge #91. For the details check out the post. The stampsare Stampin'Up! I made stencils using a MaryAnne die and a punch.
April was a great month for me, the next card was for Papercraft Star Challenge #93, April 18th, "Anything French", this card was so much fun to make. I used digital papers from the House Across the Bay, our generous sponsor.
We move on to May 7th, with a card I made for the City Crafter Challenge #108..Photo Booth. For this card I used a photo of a hummingbird I took in Trinidad, Colorado, designer paper that I stamped on and a punch border and a lot of stitching.
June 3rd, is the next card, a card I made for Father's Day! I love the blues in this card. It was a combination of lots of stamping, embossing and designer paper. The ef is Tim Holtz and the stamped images are Stampin'Up!
The last card is Summer Into Fall, one of my favorite cards, seen on August 23rd. The theme is "Butterflies", I enjoyed them all of last year! This is a combination of stamping, water color and fussy cutting with some fun colors!
These cards represent just some of the ones I love and enjoyed making. It is always a pleasure to share with you. Check out the Papercraft Star blog for the challenge details and I will be back next week with another Papercraft Star card made in 2013. Until then Happy New Year!
