The sun was shining today, but the wind was blowing and it was cold! I wasn't very productive today, but managed to at least do the normal morning chores which includes breakfast for my husband. I took the cats out, fed the birds, but that was about all. Tonight after getting supper, I cleaned up a bit and made this card. I like to try and complete one a day even when I would rather sit and do nothing!
This card was pretty simple. I used a Daffodil Delight card base and mounted it with this bright and cheery umbrella dsp. I added a die cut mat,backed with a fussy cut one. I then added umbrella(fussy cut, handles stamped), and the sentiment. I love this sentiment as it could be for so many occasions. This is a birthday card, I still have so many to get mailed. Today is my sil's birthday, this card is not for her, as hers is already mailed and hopefully will arrive today! I added yellow and white baker's twine along with a cute flower button. I love using twine!
A shout to my sil, Darla, hope you have a great birthday! I wish for the rest of you a wonderful Thursday. What could be better than a cold, sunny winter day?
