We have had gray drippy days since Jan 1, but not a lot of rain. I have seen butterflies like these looking for flowers and there are not many blooming. Today however, it was very cold and the rain came down most of the afternoon. I wonder if there will still be butterflies if it does warm up. I needed to make a card using some colors together that I don't often combine. It is not my usual colorful card, but I do like the outcome, just because I love the butterflies!
Card base is kraft, matted with white. Stamping is in Crumb Cake (kraft) ink and the butterflies are black stazon, Daffodil Delight and Summer Starfruit. This is a very simple thank you card, but effective!
I made two cards today after having a horrible headache. I actually like both cards even though one of them I had to re-do it several times. Have a wonderful Saturday, hope you find some time to craft!
