It's Tuesday over on the ColourQ, this week Arielle picked these colors, Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party, Always Artichoke, Kraft, and white. The colors on their own are outstanding, add the plaid and other than Christmas, they were hard for me to grasp this week. Here is my card, I hope you play along with us this week, so you can inspire me!
I used a kraft card base, a Pool Party and a white mat for the ocean scene. Do you know how many colors that coral comes in? Depending on the ocean the color varies, there is red coral! My ocean floor has Always Artichokewriting for interest as well as rubbed inks in the same and in the kraft. I stamped and stamped off the coral, added embossed bubbles using a brass stencil, then did a lot of rubbing. The hello sentiment is stamped in AA, the seahorse in kraft and fussy cut. Okay, this isn't the best I have done, but all I could come up with today. I guess I am fighting using plaid for spring!
