I have had this card in my head for a few days, but have been too busy, tired or just overwhelmed to work in the craft room. Today I managed to get a lot of free time to craft. This was supposed to be a black and white card with a pop of color, but it turned out to have two colors and more than just a pop.
Using a kraft card base I matted Lucky Limeade cs and a strip of leftover dsp in the same color. To this I added a white cs mat, embossed with the stripes folder. Sorry you can't see it clearly. Then I added a strip of lace tape. I think it looks cool in the photo where it is just barely visible. I have three banners at the top, two stamped and one black cs one, that has also been embossed. Baker's twine in Pool Party and Lucky Limeade is wrapped around and tied in a bow, capturing the Hello tag as well. The cup is stamped in black and has a flower stamped, fussy cut and glued to the wall mat. I added a tiny strip of black cs to draw the eyes down to finish off the card. Did you notice the green bling and the glitter shine to the white parts of the flower and leaves?
It has been a cool and sunny day here. The cats are not liking our weather, but I find it excellent for sleeping! Have a wonderful Saturday. Don't you just love the weekend, have a good one!
