It is a wonderful Wednesday! I am anticipating a somewhat cooler day, but dry and sunny. How about you, has your weather gotten better this week? This week over at the Papercraft Star, the challenge is "Red", use red in your project. PLEASE NOTE the changes in the rules at the top of the page on the blog post. We hope you will join us this week and have some fun with an easy challenge. Check out the things the other designers have come up with to inspire you!
Don't ask me what I was thinking when I designed this card because I don't know, it just popped in my head then grew as I gathered and die cut hearts. These hearts just looked like they were floating! I used a Pool Party cb and matted it with white. I used another piece of white to make an arc across the card, embossed it with hearts then cut it to the shape I wanted. I lined it with punch borders on either side. I used this pretty Primrose Petal heart and added another heart out of some dsp. Everything you see on this card is either punched or die cut! Only Celebrate is hand stamped, and there is no fussy cutting. My favorite is the die cut, embossed butterfly with red rhinestones for the body. I think this is a fun card and beautiful as well.
This card is not a Valentine, I promised you no more of those. I hope your day is one that you chose to celebrate. Every day I see more beautiful things growing outside. The garlic I planted is starting to come up and soon the earth will be alive with spring! Have a wonderful Wednesday!
