It's another beautiful Wednesday over at the Papercraft Star. The challenge this week is titled, "Hello". So use the photo or anything you chose to say hello! Do you find that we communicate less and less with mail? A simple hello sometimes says it all! Check out the challenge this week and all the other designers for inspiration. We have a new designer, be sure and welcome Allisa and join us in some fun!
I have seen a lot of telephones in blog land that bring back memories. This card did not go where I wanted it to go, seems to be my theme this week. It is what it is. I actually think the first card I made this week was much better. My card base is kraft, matted with white and some green dsp. I have a white lace embossed strip at the bottom and floral embossing as the upper. I added the Hello die cut letters from my stash, banners and a stamped flower with some pops of color, a punched tag with hello stamped, and a twisted baker's twine accent. The twisted baker's twine has three colors with white, Cherry Cobbler, Lucky Limeade, and Pool Party. I got the idea from a card that Amy Tsuruta made where she braided some baker's twine. You might want to check out blog as well. Find her in My Favorites on the sideboard. This is a fun card, I am sure someone would love receiving it.
That black and white border strip are pieces of the above banner that I stamped. Well, that is all for this Wednesday. Have a wonderful day and enjoy your crafting.
