Hello Tuesday, August is slipping away, the days are still hot, but getting shorter. Welcome to another challenge over at the ColourQ . Beautiful colors are what Arielle has chosen for us to play with this week. They are Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, and white. I love the combo, but capturing the right hues with a camera was quite difficult. Ink to card stock, the colors varied! Hope you have some time to play with us this week. Check out the other designers blog's for added inspiration!
The card base is Wisteria Wonder, I don't have much left, but I love the color. I added a Soft Sky mat and embossed it with the strip folder, I know you can't see it so I will try with my cell phone tomorrow and see if I can do better. The circle window was stamped with the wood grain stamp in WW., then die cut. A frame was die cut out of WW. as well, notice the difference in the color of the card stock and the ink. Flower stamps were inked with Rich Razzleberry, Soft Sky(centers) and Old Olive, then water colored. The bird was stamped in Wisteria Wonder and inked with RR. and Soft Sky. I added a stamped, die cut sentiment, then backed it with WW. card stock. The last was some Moonlight sequins, I really like the special touch they create.
This is the card I was able to do this week. We got the colors Saturday night and I have been oh so busy, also had some visitors on Sunday! Thanks for all your support this last week and your comments as well. Happy pinning, pinners, and have a fabulous Tuesday!
