Last week was anything that I thought it would be, I was up and down. It is easy to lose sight of what is important and give thanks for the things we have each day. I started this card on Thursday and am just now finishing it.I love these stamps and the colors.
The card base is kraft and it has two white cs mats. One is the background for the sentiment and the other has an oval die cut window and serves as the frame. The colors used are Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, Hello Honey, Tangelo Tango, and Cherry Cobbler. There is a lot of stamping, I used inks to stamp the background leaves and used some die cut ones left over from my garlands. They ar retired papers, but fit right in, they are also embossed. Stamp some dots from the Work of Art stamps set and some shading and sequins from my shop and I ahve a wonderful fall card. Did you notice the word background stamped in Blackberry Bliss and the gorgeous butterfly?
We reached 100 yesterday, the second time this week. It may rain tomorrow, but temperatures are going to be up there again. Remeber to give thanks for today, it is Sunday, the beginning of a new week. I am thankful for everyone who stops by for a visit. I hope I can inspire you to create. Thanks for your comments, they mean a lot to me and keep me posting. This is my 1500th post! It has been a long journey from Colorado to Texas, starting in July 2008. Have a wonderful day!
