Good morning, this fine 14th day of January. When you saw this did you think it was Valentine's Day? I am getting ready early, probably not early enough, but never the less, at least I am not late! Today I am sharing with you a treat bag that I made along with an old timey Valentine, a single card Valentine. I bought this card stock with the gift certificate (from Butterfly Reflections Ink)that I won from Amy's Blog Hop.
I made the treat bag using a new Stampin'Up ! die, cutting gold embossed heart vellum. I die cut a heart window and filled it with clear sheet. I also die cut a row of hearts using another new die as well. It is hard to see the heart openings in the vellum, but that is what the pom pom trim(from Sale-A-Bration) is threaded through. I added a gold punched heart as well as a pretty bow and three more punched hearts in red cs. The one card Valentine is made from a Crate Paper 6 x 6" Crate Paper Pad called Kiss Kiss. I have a stamped banner...From My Heart, a die cut heart with stamped and water colored flowers, stamped off hearts and tiny dot partial embossing and my famous bird, stamped, water colored, fussy cut and glued to the background. The Valentine slips into the treat bag which will still hold some candy, gift card or some money. I finished five of these early this morning and am showing you one. You may see the rest over on my Etsy Shop later this morning.
Have a wonderful Wednesday, thanks for stopping by for a visit!
