Welcome to the second day of the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! If you missed out yesterday, please scroll down. There is a week of fun, commenting and festivities complete with prizes thanks for Amy Tsuruta and Chaitali Narla and all the great sponsors. Happy Saturday! On this very cold frosty morning, I could use more blankets and a heating pad along with several hot cups of coffee! But alas, I would have a hard time typing! As we all are ready for Spring, I wonder, have any of you ever grown a coffee or tea plant? I know I am crazy, but I do think about things...what color are the blooms...my daughter said, do they even have flowers...and I said but of course they have to have flowers! FYI I looked online and found this and other coffee plant photo's, these flowers appear to be a soft pink flower...Wonder what they smell like?
I made this card Friday night not knowing in which direction I was headed. I have a new miniature gardening set along with dies that I really wanted to use. I did use part of it, but not the whole card. I am a mixer of stamp sets so I pull what I have until I like the design. I see wood fences everywhere in my neighbor so when outdoors comes to play, I always have wood grain. I penciled my cup, then cut a pattern out of paper, then dsp and card stock. I used scraps out of my box for everything you see. The background is hand stamped, even the wood grain on the sign. the only paper is the dsp for the cup, everything else is stamped.
Have a wonderful Saturday and enjoy hopping, maybe you would like to make a card! Feel free to join in that fun too! Check out all the cards Here...and enjoy your morning coffee or tea with us!
