Welcome to "The Flavor Of the Day". I am back rather late with another post and some ice cream cone tags. The theme this week is using your scraps and supplies you have had around for a while. We all do it...we buy too much or because of a trend we put some things away and forget we have them...of course some of us use them for decor! What do you have that goes unused?
I started out in a different direction, but got diverted by a die sitting on my floor and some scraps of paper on my table. I started Tuesday afternoon and by supper I was ready to put the tags together. Dinner was also a "scrap meal"...I was using things that I had to make a casserole and it was my intention to show you the dish. I was tired and hungry and forgot about taking a photo and dished the casserole up. I come empty handed with tags only to show you! The casserole was delicious...meat, rice, beans, tomatoes, cheese, soup, Frito's, and come Velveeta! No spices...remember I can't eat them anymore...but it was so good!
The photo of the tags, may be a little overwhelming, these are large tags and the cones alone would make anyone hungry...the ice cream has me drooling. If it weren't so late I would get make a strawberry cone. Anyway I took some scrap cs and some scrap pieces of dsp, some unused buttons and put them on tag bases I cut...yes I did have to cut up a piece of white cs. I think there might be some coffee flavored ice cream as well!
Well now I hope I have made you really hungry! We were 82 yesterday, so definitely warm enough for ice cream...Even Tigger likes Strawberry. At the moment we are having a terrible storm...the electricity has already wavered a few times. Good thing the computer has a back up battery! although I was saving as I was writing. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday, thanks for stopping by for a visit, enjoy every moment and make something crafty today!
