Hello Sunday the first day of May! It also happens to be the day my father was born. Although he passed some years ago, I always think about him, dearly and long to visit with him again! So this first day of May I made a Father's Day card, he was my father and a good one. I have many happy memories and will share a memory with you. Before my brother was born, I was the last with two older sisters, so I always had trucks as well as dolls and he always knew just what to buy for a present. In my junior high and high school days, although he was older, he still got out and played badminton with my brother and I and rode bicycles! He loved flowers, his favorite was the lily, my moms, bluebells. We would drive most every Sunday on some lark where he would always find bluebells to pick for my mom. He was an amazing father!
This is a simple card using a kraft card base, it is matted with so many pieces of designer paper, I won't try and list them. The papers are Graphic 45 and the stamp images are Technique Tuesday! What a great combination!
Have a wonderful Sunday, we are supposed to have storms again, but will just have to wait and see. Normally I would have had a sea card as my dad served his country in the Navy both in war time and peace time....but I posted my sea scene last night. My dad would have loved that card...this one???? Thanks for stopping by and Happy May!
